Product Highlight - Swerve X

Our newest generation of swerve module(s) is out!

Some cool features:

• Module is symmetric and motors are placed better to handle intaking. The green arrow shows the new orientation that allows easier intaking. The red was the previous motor placement and caused issues while intaking game objects. 
• All 4 modules use the same shafts. What this means is teams can swap from tube mount to flipped tube mount to corner mount to flipped corner mount by simply using different plates. 
• There are MUCH fewer bolts and hardware in general
• Encoder can be placed in two different spots.
• Modules have shaved off quite a bit of weight. Below is a table with preliminary weights. 
• Modules accept multiple motors: Falcon - 775pro - 550 motors.
• The bottom mounting plate is now made of 7075-T6 to help with any bending.
• Wheel height regardless of configuration is the same, so it is possible to mix and match modules on robot. 
• Aluminum Bevel gear is available to shave off weight.
• Alignment holes to zero module. 
• Clearance holes so motors can be removed without disassembling gearbox. 
• Smaller and lighter bearing, now uses a 3" x-contact bearing.
