Sometimes you just need to use 3 motors on each side of the drivetrain, but the available options either don't provide the reduction you're looking for, or aren't designed for the tried and true West Coast Drive mounting style. After having this problem ourselves, we decided to solve it with the WCP Flipped Gearbox. Add a WCP Gearbox Bearing Block (217-3634) or a V2 Versablock (217-6111) and you'll be good to go. We made the WCP Flipped Gearbox so that you can make any drivetrain you want.

FRC designers want to do the most in the least amount of space. One of our solutions to this is the WCP SS Flipped Gearbox. Combine the WCP SS Flipped Gearbox with any WCP bearing block that has a 2" center to center and unleash the power and variability to make your perfect drivetrain!
This 2-stage, single speed gearbox is designed from the ground up to be one of the most versatile and easily adaptable gearboxes in the marketplace. Its mounting makes it simple to integrate into any drive train configuration while its parallel plate design and shaft layout allows for easy adaptation to any number of different gear ratios (including the five options we provide).
The WCP engineering team has taken user feedback and incorporated it into an even better version for 2014. The most obvious improvement is the location to mount a 3rd CIM style motor (or gearbox with the same mounting pattern).
As before, the SS has two CIM motor positions to allow for multiple size pinions. There are 4 possible pinion sizes and gear kits, giving a total of 20 gear ratios. All of these can be swapped in without any modifications to the gearbox. This means teams can use any size VEXpro wheel and still have a wide range of desirable gear ratios without any additional sprocket reductions.
